About Us
With all of the ungodly things that are confronting our children today, how do parents help their children understand and embrace the Lord’s unchanging values in this changing world? In the book Train Up A Champion and on this website you will find practical advice given by Christian leaders who have decades of experience in working with families struggling to train up their children. These individuals offer parents many ways to understand the strengths of each child while helping them build a faith to last a lifetime.

Our Mission
Train Up A Champion works with Christian parents, pastors, teachers and leaders to provide them with cutting edge tools, information, programs and other resources to help them train up children to know and follow Christ.
We focus on things that will help parents
1) Discover the unique gifts and talents of children
2) Help children dream big God sized dreams
3) Consider others as more important than themselves
4) Do “greater things” than Jesus did while He was on earth

Truly, “Children are an inheritance, and the fruit of the womb is His reward ” Holly has taught faith principles to her own children, imparts faith to her 3 grandchildren, and is the primary chapel teacher of children and teens at a Christian school in California.

Renny Scott
Renny met Christ in 1968 at a Billy Graham Crusade. Years later, Renny and his wife discovered homeschooling and saw this as a family mission, which they did for eight years. Renny was also the senior pastor of a small church just outside of Washington D.C. that grew to more than 3,000 in about five years.

However, Renny’s heart was for those living in the poorest section of the inner city. So, he, his wife and their four small children moved to downtown Atlanta, where he started a ministry to provide affordable housing for the working poor of that city.
Renny’s passion for raising up a Godly generation of children and teens grew during this season of his life. So, he spent the next fourteen years of his life leading a team of educators as Headmaster at Christian Heritage School in Dalton, Georgia which was one of the poorest towns in the state. God used him to grow that school to become the largest Christian academy in the region.

Over the years Renny has understood that every child matters, and even the worst kids are worth trying to save and be given a chance to allow Christ to redeem their future.
